(4) Others (*Depending on the supply of vaccine, people aged 60-64 may be prioritized in terms of vaccination order.)

Expectant and nursing mothers (including those who might be pregnant) should be vaccinated only after consultation with a physician and only when the benefits of vaccination are judged to outweigh the risks.

As soon as a safe and effective vaccine is approved and becomes available, we will proceed with the vaccination according to the order listed above.
As a general rule, vaccinations are conducted at a medical institution or vaccination site in the city or town (address) where your resident registration is located.

The following people can be vaccinated outside their place of residence, but as a general rule, prior notification must be submitted to the municipality where they wish to be vaccinated.

* In addition, prioritized vaccination of medical workers, etc., and vaccination pertaining to workers in elderly care facilities can be carried out outside the place of residence without filing a notification, as vaccination is carried out using a preliminary medical checkup sheet attached with a vaccination ticket.
Although we are currently confirming side effects of vaccines under development, among vaccines from overseas that are planned to be supplied to Japan, there have been reports in papers and other publications that adverse events such as pain at the body part that received vaccination, headache, fatigue, and muscle pain, including side effects that are not causally related to the vaccination. In addition, it has been reported that anaphylaxis (acute allergic reaction) has occurred in rare cases among vaccinations that were carried out overseas. If anaphylaxis should occur, we are preparing for immediate treatment at the vaccination site or at a medical facility.
